Subsea

S&P

At Socomet, we specialise in buying and selling ships, both for the second-hand market and for new builds. Our expertise goes beyond simple transactions: we negotiate the price of vessels on behalf of our clients, ensuring the best deal.
We also manage all the logistics involved in transferring ownership, including managing the transfer of title to ensure that the new owners obtain all legal rights to the vessel. We take care of every detail to ensure a smooth transition.
In addition, we coordinate the necessary banking arrangements to facilitate the financial aspects of the transaction.

Tender Support

For the account of numerous clients, Socomet is increasingly asked to put together the entire Call for Tender package (including Market Surveys, too), covering all operational information, HSE documentation, security requirements, as well as the essential commercial, technical and contractual submissions. Once launched, Socomet collates all the responses within a set deadline and prepares digestible package for our clients. Then, in close collaboration with the clients, we can participate in the technical and commercial shortlisting of units, drawing on our many years of experience, providing indispensable and tailor made advice to our clients, taking into account all factors, such as local content, taxes and the bidders’ track record in the country of operations.
